My feet aren’t the same size and fall between an 8 and 8.5. I loved these shoes so much I ordered them 3 x’s to get the right fit. The size 8 1/2W was huge, and the 8M was too small, but the size 8W was just right. I finally had my the Goldilocks fit, but one shoe was sewn improperly. The leather strap was attached too low and the ring rested on my foot not on the shoe. So disappointing! Rockport’s quality control should have caught this issue before shipping it.

We have a winner: Leather finish was even on these caramel colored shoes.
The 10W was a good fit for my 10C foot and the sole has enough cush to use walking around in the city. The heel just 1/2″ is separate from the sole, which is more classic than the flat sole of a sneaker or wedge.
There was no toe cleavage, there was decent support and flexibility for walking. The shape of the toe left was comfortable giving just a smidge of room for my toes to wiggle just a bit; and the heel was not too wide(not everyone who wears a wide shoe has a wide heel).

These are very nice shoes. They are just a little long for me which could have worked if I hadn’t found another shoe that is the perfect fit. These are better looking than the Life Stride I chose, but the Life Stride fits better. If I had bought 2 pairs of black flats, I would have kept them.
