So disappointed! I bought these shoes for work in a restaurant. I was happy about the non-stop and style but after 1 shift I was limping so badly my feet hurt for days! First, I wasn’t aware of the steel toe which crushes my toes when I kneel. Also with a steel toe there is no hope of breaking them in. Instead they will break you. Next, the heel is so low they don’t fit securely and, as a rest, rub endlessly until you have a nice blister. The material seems if quality and it’s a tough shoe, tougher than me apparently, but a tragic waste of hard earned money. After 1 shift of wearing them I can’t return them. So I’m stuck with $100 torture devices.

After reading Zappos customer reviews, I wasn’t quite sure about purchasing the shoe. The style was a no-brainer, love; however, I was worried about comfort. I was pleasantly surprised; the Rockport shoes feel great. I have worn for the last three days, and throughout 10-12 hour shifts – comfortable throughout my entire workday. I plan on purchasing another soon. Love these work shoes!!!

I love these shoes! It is hard to find safety shoes that don’t look like Frankenstein’s monster’s shoes! These look like any other pair of loafers. Comfortable and look great!

These are very sturdy shoes. They didn’t match my feet very well and I have learned over a long life of shoe buying not to keep shoes that are uncomfortable from the outset. Also, as others have notes, they are heavy and stiff and I need to be as nimble as possible on the boat. So I am returning them, but they are of excellent quality if they suit your needs and your feet.

So, I didn’t get to wear my shoes. I manage to try them on but they felt real close. I returned them and waiting to order a bigger size. I can tell they’re going to be awesome because the sole felt so good and comfortable.

This shoe was offered as part of the selection of shoes that was from my employer. I liked the style and since these are “work shoes”, I thought the shoes would automatically be comfortable. I was wrong. After 4.5hrs of standing and walking in these shoes, I had 2 big blisters on the bottom of my heels. The heel collar pinched and rubbed the back of my heels and left blisters. These shoes are not comfortable… stylish if you like the style but that’s about it.

They were comfortable from the get go, and working 10 hr shifts are a big deal for shoes! My heels do slip out sometimes if I hit a cart by accident for example but if I am walking around and lifting, they are fine. I would totally recommend!
