Very bulky and heavy boot. Not at all what I expected from Rockport. Composite toe feels very bulky and restrictive.

The sole has arbitrarily placed softer spots than other places, supposedly to make it more comfortable, but it makes one of them excruciating to wear for any length of time. It’s just an extremely poor design of the sole. And I guess one boot was make out of spec.

This is a well rounded work boot that fits amazing after break in. feels like it molded to your foot. comfortable and durable. I would definitely recommend it.

leather quality was superb but this took a while to break-in. The leather is buttery soft. the insoles are ok. if you really want it comfy, add a quality insoles and this will really enhance this boot.

Great boots, didn’t have to break them in. I work 10 hours a day on concrete, and I never have issues. I’ve had these boots for 7 months

Very comfortable and they look like they will be very durable. They are extremely well made, good stitching and premium quality materials. I get a $160.00 credit towards boots though my employer yearly and I have tried several different brands over the years, mainly due to Rockport’s not being available. I have returned a few pairs of other big brands due to poor quality and keep a few pair that should have been returned.
This particular model is great for the cooler days of Michigan winter but a bit too heavily insulated and warm for temperatures above 20 for me.

Definitely not what I expected from Rockport based on my previous experience with their products. The leather wasn’t what I expected and the toe box of the boot was too wide. They felt like there was no arch support and the insole felt hard. The shoelaces were so big in the eyelets that they will not lace up or unlace easily. Truly disappointing after waiting for these to restock.

the leather on this shoes are really soft as butter when broken in. tough shoes for onsite jobs. the only downside that I can see is the cushioning. eventually you will need to buy a better insoles to keep working on them.

these boots stink. literally. they don’t breath so you’re feet will sweat constantly, and the soul is thin and about as comfortable as a cheap pair of workboots from walmart

Rockport does it again! I “stress tested” them and went on a 4 mile hike. Afterwards my feet were so comfy that I didn’t want to take off my boots. I have wide feet and the toe box fits great. They are light, and the sole is thick. I have several other Rockport XCS boots which are great too! I love my Rockports.

I have incredibly wide feet. These boots have an extra wide composite toe cap (XTR). Which makes for one of the most well fitted boots I’ve ever worn. Definitely recommend these boots, for anyone with wide feet.

I’ve worked for the MTA for 18 years and these are the most comfortable work boots I’ve ever worn. I have a very wide toe box but a standard wide heel which makes these boots perfect for me. Very comfortable after one 8 hour shift break in. I just wish Rockport still made this series in Black as the grease from the rails and steel dust from the tracks etc. shows very quickly on Brown. Please don’t stop making this XTR toe cap series, these are a game changer. I can’t recommend this series enough if you walk 10+ miles a week or work in transportation. Thank you Rockport!
