The shoe is unmistakably attractive, however the top edges are uncomfortable against my skin. The area just above my ankle becomes irritated half way through the day.

Love these boots! Real quality leather and exactly what I was looking for. I was able to wear them right away without any blisters or sore toes. Key was to order 0.5 size bigger than usual. I am usually a 7.5 and have wide feet. With 8 I was perfect and could even fit thin wool socks on top of my regular socks. That way I was warm even in 5F degree weather and snow. They really are waterproof, I wore them in pouring rain and stayed completely dry. On top of all this, they are also super stylish!

Love these boots and I have gotten so many compliments! They are very comfortable. I usually wear a 7 1/2 or 8 and I got an 8 in these. There’s definitely still room to wear thicker socks. I also like how these boots aren’t super narrow so my toes don’t feel squished.

The Ryleigh Chelsea Boot that I just purchased are black and they are SO comfortable and true to size. I wear them all day and have walked in them a couple of miles. I went with another Rockport boot as the other pair I have I just love. They are brown and still so comfortable. If you are looking for comfort, Rockport is the Boot/shoe to purchase.

I thought these were attractive, but they did not fit me. I ordered an 8 wide and they were too long. I couldn’t size down because it’s not a generous wide so a smaller size would definitely have been too narrow. I can’t comment on the arch because it didn’t hit my arch due to the size issue.

I bought these for a trip to Ireland and they were perfect! Waterproof, super comfortable while wearing for 10+ hours a day, enough of a grip to climb on rocks and not slip, and just simply beautiful. The color is more of a berry than a maroon, but I think that’s better actually because they are unique. I would absolutely recommend these to anyone. I live in the PNW, so they will get use all year round. Great find!

The boots top surface color is very light beige and uneven with some light white spats because the surface quality is very low. When I received the delivered box, I found out the boots were thrown inside of the used mail box which was not the shoes box( obviously someone’s previous return).
Observing the quality of the boots surface I was very disappointed and decided to return them right away without even trying them. The Zappos quality control did not do their job before sending the boots. It is not acceptable!

Great looking and comfortable insole. I wear a a 7 and this fit perfectly with double layer wool dress socks but was a wee bit large with normal dress socks. So if you are not going to use the where warmth is a factor, might go half size smaller than normal. Minimal break in time. Only thing I didn’t like was that the top of the ankles is a bit of an unfinished edge and the dye is inconsistent so will attack with a black marker so it doesn’t stand out with Gael leggings.

Gorgeous color (but note it was more eggplant/dark purple than anything I’d call red), sturdy but flexible sole, just enough heel height to look stylish but still good for walking. Very comfortable, and with the removable footbed, I was easily able to put my own orthotic in, but not quite right for me. I really wanted to keep them but the toe box for my “problem foot” (wide, bunion, hammer toes, metatarsal pain) was just a little bit too narrow and low so I had to return. I think I’m better off with a rounded toe rather than an almond toe like this has. Fit was good on my my non-problem foot (which is a little wide but otherwise normal). I’m usually 8W which is what I ordered. I think the fit was correct, just the toe box issue for my particular foot. If you have very wide feet or need a lot of room in the toe area, probably not a good choice. If you have feet that are wide but otherwise no issues, these in a wide size would probably work. I did note a tiny bit of heel slipping but I have narrow heels, and it was nothing that thicker socks wouldn’t take care of.

I ordered the taupe boots in my usual size 8 and they are perfect. I’ve worn them with a knee-high sock and have no issue with the top rubbing – but I have skinny legs??! I have a narrow foot and the heel slides just a little but that can be expected for any boot. I like the removable inner sole and upon doing so, noticed that there is even more padding in the sole of the boot itself. Very comfortable, practical (zipper access/good tread/waterproof) AND cute. The whole package.

Needed a half size up to accommodate thick socks, very warm and comfy once that was allowed for. Love the color-haven’t tested the waterproof quality as yet, but otherwise everything I could have wished for.

I love these boots!! Comfy on the inside, sleek and waterproof on the outside. These boots are the perfect height too. I can wear them with my skinny jeans, straight legs-rolled, or boot cut-on the outside. I bought the black leather and may also purchase the brown leather too! I live in Western NY and you can never have too many ankle boots here! Would recommend to everyone.

Wore these boots all over Ireland for 10 days. Did not need any of the other 3 pairs of shoes I brought, looking just fine dressed up a bit.
They stood the test in puddles. I will be wearing these all winter. For anyone else who is a size 6, they are slightly big but a heavier sock took care of that.
