The left shoe fit fine; the right shoe was incorrectly cut so the toe area was much narrower than the left shoe.

The shoes fit fine, and the style is good. However, these shoes have a hard rubber sole that has very little tread. They do not provide any traction on hard surfaces. I have other Rockport shoes with a much softer sole and good traction. These are very dangerous for anyone who walks on surfaces other than carpet.

I’m a big fan of Rockport mens shoes. They are stylish, well made, reliably true to size, and COMFORTABLE. The fact that the insoles are well cushioned is especially important to us old-timers, because with age, the natural collagen cushion on the pads of our feet gradually goes away.
