I have owned several pair of Rockport boots over the years. I like these a lot. The leather is stiffer than my previous experiences and that is causing the break in time to be slower than expected…..your mileage may vary

I loved the looks and quality of these boots plus they a rather light in weight.
BUT even though I have narrow feet, it was impossible to get my feet into the boot because of the small opening, even when I losened the laces completely.

I like these boots, the design is awesome. Been wearing them for a couple of days and they are comfortable. I don’t think they’re comfortable enough for long walks. Will see.

Arrived today inimpressive 3 days to Hawaii. I’m a 9.5D in all major brands incl Nike, Brooks, Puma, Saucony, Adidas, New Balance. I worried it might be too long but ordered 9.5 bc it’s round toe. Good move with .5-.7 inch play. Width perfect, better with use. Chose this boot for the sole grip and thickness too. Beautiful color, cordovan/burgundy. Comfortable insert. Stitched all around. Expect long usage. Happy as heck after some false starts with foreign brands.

Overall, a good shoe. I have had excellent success with Rockport shoes / boots in this category long term and this does nothing to change that.
